La vidéo donne tout son sens à la campagne.
Elle lui insuffle son véritable rythme (saccadé, et planant).
La musique et la chorégraphie sont essentielles. Les mannequins parfaitement abstraits.
Même s'il est difficile d'évoquer Metropolis comme un décor uniquement, une construction, un jouet (?).
Ou alors le film ne vaudrait-il plus qu'en tant que tel désormais.
Comme une réalisation matérielle resurgie du passé, un fond d'arrière-plan qui autorise la création nouvelle en s'en affranchissant totalement, en le (re)construisant / le détruisant.
